For many years Rabbi Bechhofer’s life’s mission has been and remains to spread Torah, in lecture and in writing, explaining it to wide audiences without compromising the substance of the message whatsoever. Included in Rabbi Bechhofer’s wide repertoire is the Torah of the Arizal, vitally important onto its own, and very necessary for us to dispel all the heresy and lies in the world. It is no coincidence that the Arizal died during the nine days as his Torah is a protection and countermeasure to the Golus and will ultimately lead us to the Geula.
As an expression of Rabbi Bechhofer’s dedication to the Torah of the Arizal, for ten years straight he has held a Siyum on the Arizal’s Yahrzeit, with a lavish Seudas Mitzvah, all לכבודו של צדיק and he always gives a presentation on the legacy of the Arizal, each year from a different perspective. All those who contributed to this event לעילוי נשמת רבינו יצחק בן שלמה האר”י הקדוש זי”ע saw big personal Yeshuos, as the Arizal was surely מליץ יושר for all those engaged in his כבוד and supporting his Torah.
As you all well know, this year Rabbi Bechhofer had some serious health challenges and with Hashem’s Mercy, he made it through with a Refuah Shleima, but in need of rest. Being exhausted from the experience, he has decided to scale back some activities to recuperate but could not give up on the tradition of marking the Arizal’s Yahrzeit with a Siyum and a Maamar on his legacy.
This year that tradition will be upheld in a select forum of just very close friends and family, but the Maamar on the Arizal’s legacy will be recorded and broadcast during the Arizal’s Yahrzeit.
We are asking you all to contribute to the cause of Rabbi Bechhofer’s dissemination of Torah, both the Torah of the Arizal in particular and his general Torah dissemination, as you have done in previous years.
In the Zechus of supporting this annual tradition, לכבוד רבינו האר”י הקדוש זי”ע on his Yahrzeit, certainly the Arizal will be מליץ יושר for you, as these funds will be used for Rabbi Bechhofer to continue his Holy work of explaining and spreading the Arizal’s Torah.
Please give generously and זכות רבינו יצחק בן שלמה, האר”י הקדוש זי”ע should stand by you and your family through these troubling times and may you all merit to see ישועות בתוך כל ישראל.
